ECHO-connected Alarm Installers

To benefit from being ECHO-connected alarm protected premises and property must be located in an  ECHO-connected police force area.

ECHO-connected alarm systems benefitting from police response are supplied by any NSI or SSAIB certified installer. |As required by the NPCC Police Requirements for Security Systems, these installers undergo thorough annual inspections by their certifying body - for more information about them see below. Installers appoint an approved Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to monitor each alarm system with police response.

New forces are connecting to ECHO every year, expanding coverage across the UK. See the list of Echo-connected police forces on this website. Your installer can tell you if your police response alarm is/would be ECHO-connected, and subject to priority treatment in faster police response.

Police estimates indicate a saving of up to 4 potentially crucial minutes in responding alarm incidents.
